Vice President Sales (MENA)

Middle East and North Africa (MENA)

You will be entirely responsible for the delivery of an on-budget performance for 3t Energy Group products sold in your region including delivery of income targets for the key verticals of training, simulation and learning Technology. Leading from the front with a positive, can-do, and hands-on approach; you will lead a sales team of 5 business development managers and support staff to provide world-class customer service.

You will ensure an effective balance between delivering income budgets and managing costs, working with the local finance function to set appropriate controls and parameters.

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Develop, communicate and execute the strategy for execution of the 3t Group vision in the MENA region
  • Lead a team of sales professionals to deliver exceptional results
  • Ensure the team is structured sufficiently to achieve regional budgets whilst considering cost management responsibilities
  • Create a high-performance sales culture across the team; putting customers’ needs at the heart of everything we do
  • Provide account management for key accounts within the region
  • Assume budgetary responsibilities for the regional financial performance and local expenditure
  • Use weekly / monthly key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure that the region is performing in-line with expectations and report back to executive leadership to advise on performance

  • Experience of working in a matrix organisation with multiple reporting lines and internal stakeholders
  • The ability to innovate and develop new approaches to the environment we operate in order to grow the region
  • The ability to remain calm and be assertive during busy periods or when dealing with challenging situations
  • Discretion with the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Significant experience in a similar role with at least 3 years in senior management within relevant oil and gas or energy industry
  • Experience in training and/or technology as an advantage
  • Experience of working in Saudi Arabia as an advantage
